Access
Public Transport:
The Sandcastle is very accessible via public transport. A three-minute walk away from the main entrance is the Bijlmer Arena Train, Metro and Bus station. See gvb.nl and ns.nl for more information.
Car:
The Sandcastle has a Kiss and Ride parking accessible from the Foppingadreef. Look up ParkBee Foppingadreef on Google Maps.
Bike:
The Sandcastle has an indoor bike parking, to access it you have to walk through the pedestrian zone and enter next to the Subway Sandwich shop. In the mornings, the door is open. If it is not, please ring the bell.
Miscellaneous
Elevators are only accessible by the staff in our school, but if you ask them REALLY nicely, maybe they will let you on it as well.
The library is a great place to study, especially on the 2nd floor of it.
You cannot use your device in the cafeteria from 11:45 to 13:15, but after or before that you are free to use laptops.
The primary area is bigger than the secondary area.
To get from the ground floor to the top floor you need to take around 300 steps.
This building once was a bank and is now a school!
This whole building as well as some of the things inside it are considered art!
